Conflict Minerals Policy

First Cable Line, Inc (FCL) is committed to sourcing components and materials from companies that share the same values regarding respect for human rights, integrity and environmental responsibility. FCL is committed to follow the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (“OECD Guidance”), and also the requirements of Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act, which aims to prevent the use of tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (“conflict minerals”) that directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (“DRC”) or nearby countries. FCL requires its suppliers to comply with the OECD Guidance to source and track all conflict minerals contained in any materials provided by suppliers. All smelters whose due diligence practices has to validated by an independent third party audit program. FCL is committed to working towards becoming “conflict-free” (which means that such supplier does not source conflict minerals that directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the DRC or adjoining countries).
